Plunge Pool Design

The challenge when designing this plunge pool was the selection of materials and finishes to make this area feel larger.

Our aim was to bring warmth and comfort to the space with a contemporary style. The curved hardwood timber deck flows from inside the house and then sits, floating above the pool. Stunning Bluestone pavers were chosen for the coping and paved areas, providing a modern finish that also complemented the timber and blue mosaic tiles of the pool’s interior.

The hardwood timber bench seats were designed to maximise the potential of the entertainment area and give a warm and welcoming feel to the space. By converting the fixed seating into day beds, the owners can enjoy quiet and relaxing time by the plunge pool during the day and then utilise the space for seating & entertaining into the night.
