Riverview Daycare Centre Landscape Gardening

Saint Ignatius’ College, Riverview decided to construct a first-class childcare facility with outdoor play area.

The design aim was to develop an outdoor space that provides a variety of play outcomes and opportunities for learning in a safe environment.

The landscape design focused on establishing active, passive and sensory play spaces suitable for children aged 0-5 years. The plants were chosen to stimulate imaginative and creative play. The selection not only had to survive in difficult conditions but also needed to be low allergenic and capable of enduring high traffic.
