School Yard Landscape Plan

With the upgrading of existing facilities due to the Building the Education Revolution (BER), Space Landscape Designs has been involved in the development of landscape plans for various schools.

The brief was to integrate the indoor and outdoor spaces together. The challenge was to create areas that encompass a wide range of uses for students. Areas were designed to encourage active play, passive play and places for socialisation. The landscape design concept was to modernise existing areas while incorporating more soft spaces. Trees for shade were essential in all the school landscaping designs as well as providing softening of the built form of new structures.
