Shopping Centre Garden Design
The car park was long overdue for a new planting scheme that would give a fresh modern feel to the shopping centre.
As a staged development, the first section to re-design was the garden beds adjacent to all the pedestrian and vehicle entrances.
With garden beds located in the car park it presented some site complexities and constraints. The brief for the project was simple: design gardens in the car park with lots of colour that look lush and inviting. The plant selection by our Landscape Architects had to be hardy and low maintenance and able to withstand the harsh conditions of a public car park environment. The outcome was a successful selection of plants sensitive to the local conditions and exposure to salt air.
