Sydney Waterfront Design

This Sydney water front property was in a desperate need of a new backyard. With collapsing retaining walls and no way to access the water frontage a unique design was essential.

The brief was to create various entertaining areas and an easy journey from the house down to the jetty.

The landscape architects in this design packed everything in. At the upper level we created a large under covered entertaining area with a huge 6m outdoor kitchenette. The first set of timber stairs takes you down to the 10 person spa. The journey continues down to the huge cantilevered curved floating deck. Crazy paved stairs lead you down to the decking boardwalk adjacent a new sandstone sea wall. A new wharf leads up to the boat mooring. To top it all of a custom 6 person enclosed inclinator was designed with four separate call stations.
